The 10th of August 2025 was one of those moments that reminded me why I love working with kids. I was in the indoor play area, surrounded by the buzz of little voices and the soft thud of rubber soles on artificial grass. I held a basketball in my hands, ready to turn a simple game into a lesson in coordination, confidence, and joy.
One boy stood inside a yellow hoop, clutching a colorful ball with wide eyes and a curious grin. I stood beside him, guiding his stance and encouraging him to aim. Around us, a row of students in their school uniforms sat cross-legged, watching intently—some whispering, others bouncing with anticipation. Their energy was contagious.
I wasn’t just teaching basketball; I was teaching focus, teamwork, and the thrill of trying something new. Every bounce, every pass, every cheer from the sidelines felt like a small victory. And in that moment, I felt the quiet satisfaction of knowing I was helping them grow—not just as players, but as people.
